Hi, I’m Peter.

I’ve been in the childcare industry for many, many years. I’m tempted to say “when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I was looking after their children” J But more seriously… I have a Diploma in Children’s Services, and Certificate III, and many years of experience working with children of all ages.

I have worked in the child care industry since 1988.

My personal philosophy in working with children is to help to promote their self-esteem and confidence. I have a strong personal commitment to promoting social justice and equity issues, environmental sustainability, and anti-bias: that is, combating sexism, racism and any form of behaviour were people are judged on pre-conceived labels rather than who they are as a person.

On a more personal note… I’m a nerd (and proud). I like reading, role-playing, computer strategy games, and acting. I’ve been in many stage plays.

I am also a university drop out. I was in second year Economics, with Sociology and Political Science (and loving it) before I was forced by economic necessity to go back to full time work.

Also, I’m tall… very tall. It’s probably the first thing you’ll notice about me.

I don’t believe in Astrology, but I’m Aquarius, and we’re open minded.

My star sign is Aquarius, and in the Chinese Horoscope I’m a Red Fire Horse.

Both signs reckon I’m independent, open minded, community spirited, and a bit eccentric. They could be right about any of that. I’ll keep an open-mind.

If, like me, you are of a more scientific outlook, my Myers-Briggs Type Indicator says I’m an I.N.F.P., (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceptive) which means I’m independent, open-minded, community spirited, and a bit eccentric. They could be on to something.

Hi I’m Gail Sadlier and I’m an assistant educator in the Joeys room. I have worked at Noah's Ark for the past 7 years across all of the rooms.

I really enjoy caring for and nuturing the children as they grow and develop. I also enjoy coming to work everyday to engage in positive conversations with the children and families.

Hi, I am Chelsea Edmonds, I have been a poart of Noah's Ark for the last 3 years and this year will be my fourth year with the woderful Noah's Ark team members. During my time at noah's Ark, I have worked part time in all the room while completing Year 12, followed by my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. In 2020 I beacame a part of the Possums team while completing my Diploma in Early Childhood. This year I will be continuing my role of Program Cover and being a part of the Possums team while I start my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at the Australian Catholic University. I cannot wait to meet, learn and grow with you and your children during 2021.
